The Legend of Sleepy Hollow Poster
Set in Tarrytown in 1790, The Legend of Sleepy Hollow tells the tale of Ichabod Crane, the love-struck schoolteacher, who must decide if he believes the story of the town’s Headless Horseman to be true or just a figment of his active imagination. As Ichabod faces his fears and superstitions, all manner of characters jump in to tell the story, share a few laughs, and put the town newcomer, Ichabod himself, to the test. Ultimately, all of our characters are challenged to decide if fear will rule their lives or if faith in God’s promised providence will triumph. Using this wonderful adaptation of America’s first ghost story, we will be immersed in it together in an outdoor setting on our very own Wesleyan Campus. Will the Headless Horseman make an appearance? You’ll have to join us outdoors to find out!

Bring your own blanket or chair to the special outdoor location: The Green by Davidson Natatorium. Recommended for ages 8 and older.
