This inspirational story, based on the memoir of Maria Augusta Trapp, follows an exuberant postulate who takes the position of governess to the seven children of the imperious widower Captain Georg von Trapp, bringing music and joy into the household. But as the forces of Nazism take hold of Austria, the entire von Trapp family must make a difficult moral decision. <\/p>\n

Set in Austria on the eve of the Anschluss, this incomparable piece tells a timeless story of family love, the power of music, and God\u2019s provision in the darkest of circumstances. <\/p>\n
